Having established ‘The Entrepreneurship Development Cell’ at the campus, Marwadi University encourages the capabilities of students in entrepreneurship development by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell offers students to set up their own business at the university by cultivating their unique entrepreneur ideas. It is ensured that everything that a startup business idea needs to grow and establish itself as a business is available/provided by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at the Marwadi University. It is also made sure that the each and every MUite’s entrepreneur ideas are polished with the qualities of innovation and entrepreneurship. 

The startup business not only helps students but also fosters local economic development, improving social conditions and contributing to addressing environmental challenges.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell has framed a few policies in context to entrepreneurship development and startup business ideas.
  • Student Startup and Innovation Policy, Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat
  • Nodal Institutions for the Start-Ups/ Innovation scheme - 2015
  • New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre-NewGen IEDC, under the aegis of National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Along with impartial and motivating guidance to students for their startup ideas; the 
Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Marwadi University makes sure that students receive
access to Idea Lab, Prototype Lab: MB 602, Furnished/Semi-furnished/Unfurnished space
as per the requirement of startup, Meeting room/Conference hall with Projection
equipment, Internet, electricity, and water facility, Hostel facility, if available, Laboratory and
workshop facility, Library facility, Cafeteria facilities, Participation in
Workshops/Seminar/Bootcamp etc., Medical facilities.
