About LLB course:

LLB course has been one of the most prestigious courses among individuals of all ages for a long time. Unlike the past, today, this profession is not just limited to court hearings and other judicial proceedings. With globalization and privatization, a number of opportunities have come into the scenario which also makes it a popular course to pursue. As an individual is exposed to a number of real-life cases, qualities like observation, curiosity, and a fair knowledge about the current affairs of the world are highly essential. Along with these qualities, decent soft skills and a strong vocabulary are also necessary.

Admission process:

In order to pursue LLB course, one has to appear for certain national level entrance examination for LLB course and has to satisfy certain eligibility criteria’s to be able to pursue this course in various law colleges of India.

A few national level entrance exams for LLB course include CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and AILAT (All-India Law Admission Test). Through these tests, an individual will be able to secure in the country’s topmost law colleges. But the competition is pretty fierce and hence, it is always advisable to give other entrance exams conducted by private universities as well. Career opportunities:

As a qualified lawyer, a number of career opportunities for an individual. He/she can choose to work in, both, government and private fields. After clearing the BAR exam conducted by the BAR council of India, one can choose to practice as a lawyer in district/high courts. After gaining certain required years of experience in these courts, one can become a lawyer or judge in the High court or Supreme court of India.
